Parking is on the East side of the building and the main entrance is at the front.
Coffee & Tea is served before the service so come early to enjoy, mingle, and find a seat!
When you arrive, you'll be met by greeters who just want you to feel welcome. Feel free to ask them where anything is! (washrooms, coffee, kid's programming, etc.)
Our gathering includes music, prayer, Bible reading, and a sermon.
The music is sung together, led by a team at the front. The songs express our love for God and God's love for us. Don't know the songs? No problem! You can just listen and start singing along if you feel comfortable.
Prayer is us talking with God. This is usually done on behalf of the congregation by someone at the front. Sometimes, though, we invite the congregation to speak prayers out loud. This is completely voluntary participation!
The Bible reading, often connected with the sermon, is to help us listen to God's written word for us.
The sermon is a presentation based on the Bible that invites us to think about God, ourselves, and how we follow Jesus in our world.
Most Sundays we offer programs for children (up to grade 5) and youth (grades 6-12), staffed by amazing leaders, that runs for a part of the time. They get dismissed part way through the morning gathering to their programs.
More to Consider:
Stepping into something new is nervewracking for most of us. We get that. We do our best to be welcoming. If you want to get a glimpse of us before coming in person, check us out at https://www.youtube.com/@CovenantPenetang.
But the best way to get to know us is to participate in one of our gatherings. The setting is casual and the people are welcoming. We would love to have you join us on this journey.
