Good morning, Covenant Family. This may be my shortest Covenant Weekly ever. I’m writing this on the holiday Monday. And the day you receive this is, I’m off spending the day with Angie because it is our anniversary. But I wanted to take just a moment to reflect on one thing Paul wrote to the church in Philippi.
I thank my God every time I remember you.
Simply put, I want you to know that this is true when I think of you. Unlike Paul, I’m not separated from you. But I am extremely grateful to God for you, for the privilege of being a part of you, and for the impact you’ve had on my life and the life of my family. Certainly, not everything has been easy. In fact, some things have been really, really hard. But, by God’s grace, it has been good. I believe that love has abounded more and more among us as we’ve kept at it. And it is bearing fruit that looks like the fruit of the Spirit among us.
I thank my God every time I remember you. That’s the short and simple message I want to share with you today. Thanks for being family with me - with us.
