Yesterday was Martin Luther King Jr. Day in the United States. This annual holiday is set aside to honour the life and legacy of the Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King Jr. Many have undertaken to talk about Dr. King’s passionate pursuit of justice and equality. These reflections are beautiful and necessary. As I’ve considered Dr. King’s legacy this year, I’ve been thinking about the themes of courage and power.
